We have available 3 apartments that have been converted from an old hay barn. We have used only local stone and authentic materials to ensure that we keep the original features of the property in a truly Tuscan style.
The barn is situated on the ruins of a medieval tower.
Each apartment has an independent entrance and a private outside area with table and chairs
(each on different sides of the barn).
The apartments are fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Again the apartments are furnished in a Tuscan style with original pieces of restored furniture. Even the beds are prepared in the old Tuscan style using mattresses of wool and sheets produced in the traditional way as used by my grandmother, woven in cotton on the loom; the apartment Le Mangiatoie for example was the old stable of the farm and from here we have used items such as the old wooden front of the trough and old gates and restored these to use as headboards for the beds in the apartments.
The area around the barn is magical, here you can see (and hear) cuckoo’s and woodpeckers, deer and other birds and wild animals. We even have a young fox who visits the farm each evening entering in the kitchen looking for food.
The swimming pool is set amid an oasis of green with a large patio area complete with umbrellas, tables and chairs and sun loungers in teak complete with mattresses.
