Londa is a small town set amid an abundance of Green with a beautiful lake. The town is rich in history and tradition and whilst small and friendly you can find in Londa a good selection of shops, bars and Restaurants, enough to satisfy the needs of visitors to the area. 3 valleys surround Londa: the Casentino, through which you can reach Arezzo; the Mugello, described as the Green heart of Tuscany and latterly famous for the Mugello International racing track. (used by Ferrari for Testing and home of the Italia round of the international Superbike racing along with a selection of other racing events) and the Valdisieve, famous for the Chianti Rufina wines. Throughout the area you can find traces of our history with Castles, Roman roads, Museums, archaeological excavations dating back to the Etruscan period. For those of you with a passion for shopping just 20 minutes away is ‘The Mall’ here you will find a large selection of designer shops selling all the famous Italian brands including Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Ferragamo, Prada and many more. You can also find each day in the area large open air markets with a selection of locally produced products, clothes, shoes etc, please just ask and we can give you more information. For those of you who enjoy walking, mountain biking or Horse riding the area is a haven with the possibility of exploring a different zone each day of your stay, again we would be delighted to give you advise and information about this.
